Guest table at the Gîte du Pont de Burgen, family cooking with garden produce

Guest table

A hearty, thoughtfully-sourced break

Farmers first and foremost

You'll find produce from our garden through a very short, responsibly-farmed supply chain. Our cooking blends family recipes with culinary experiences from our travels – a fusion of spices from elsewhere with fruit and vegetables from our garden, along with local produce.

Our guest table is an extension of our smallholder farming, which is low-impact, with no pesticides or chemical fertilisers. Menus therefore change with the seasons, and our own produce is complemented by other local goods (honey, bread, cheese, wine…).

Our meals include

Evening meal

  • Homemade aperitif and wine included
  • Vegetable starter
  • Meat dish with sides
  • Cheese
  • Homemade dessert, coffee or herbal tea

Breakfast

  • Bakery bread
  • Homemade jam from garden fruit, butter
  • Hot drink
  • Fruit juice, yoghurt…

Packed lunch

For packed lunches, in the interest of sustainability, please bring your own containers and cutlery to limit single-use packaging. A surcharge may apply if we provide you with a reusable container.
Please note! As meals are home-cooked, please let us know as early as possible about any specific diet (vegetarian, vegan…) and/or food intolerances or allergies, and remind us regularly.
